The following age group play 7 preliminary rounds starting from the Sunday after the October long weekend, followed by QF, SF and GF:

Under 14s mixed
Under 13s mixed - 1st and 2nd divisions

Â
The under 13 Mollie Dive girls team play three rounds in December prior to Christmas, then restart mid-January for another 5 rounds and then finals.
Â
The under 15 Margaret Peden girls team play a T20 double header prior to Christmas, then play a mixture of mid-week and Sunday games during January.
The remaining Youth Championship teams normally have 3 rounds starting the first week in December. After a break from the school holidays, the competition restarts with four rounds in February:
Under 15s mixed (2nd division team)
Under 14s mixed (2nd division team)
Under 14 girls
Under 11s mixed division 1
Under 11s mixed division 2 (we enter a 2nd team from under 11s and an under 10 team)
Â
All players are expected to attend all games including trial games prior to the start of the season as well as all training sessions for the season.
Last season CNSW limited boys to trialling for one association only. Parents were required to nominate the association they intended to trial with.
Note: Green shield is a competition where teams are entered from premier cricket clubs. It is unrelated to the cricket association's cricket programs.
